Jam Game - Scaling Platformer
Your goal is to make it to the end of the level. How? You will need to use your platforming skills, and your newly discovered ability to change an object's size to progress.
Press the circle button at the flag to stop the timer, then press the square button at the arrow sign to restart your run! (Due to some temporal fudgery you may find the objects retain their new size instead of resetting. Maybe one day this will not be the case)
Controls
to Move
to jump
to grow an object
to shrink an object
Objects that can be affected will be highlighted by a blue outline when you look at them.
Next Steps
If I were able to spend more time on this project, I would want to add or work on the following items:
- Add a laser effect to the Scaler abilities
- Add sound effects for movement, jumping, and scaling abilities
- Improve the performance of the outline effect
- Build a level with every object being able to be resized
- Improve lighting in the game
- Add more detail to the levels

bro this isnt even for the lame jam
Initially, no. Howevery it was made at the same time within the time frame for both jams, and has the ability to loop with the objects not resetting for faster times so I thought it was fitting for both themes. I just haven't changed the name because life.
Impressive. very fun platformer, would love to have more levels but great game!
Thanks! I didn't have any extra time unfortunately to add more, but I definitely could see more ways to extend the concept!
